We have quite a few peanut allergies at the center and we are fully peanut free. Please remember to keep snacks, breakfast items, etc. that contain peanuts at home to keep all of our friends safe!

Look what arrived yesterday!
PRESS RELEASE Lil Newton's Nest has been selected for the 2012 Best of Minneapolis Award in the Preschool category by the Minneapolis Award Program.
Each year, the Minneapolis Award Program identifies
companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their
local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance
the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our
community. These exceptional companies help make the Minneapolis area a great
place to live, work and play.
Various sources of information were gathered and
analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2012 Minneapolis Award
Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the
information gathered both internally by the Minneapolis Award Program and data
provided by third parties.
About Minneapolis Award Program
The Minneapolis Award Program is an annual awards
program honoring the achievements and accomplishments of local businesses
throughout the Minneapolis area. Recognition is given to those companies that
have shown the ability to use their best practices and implemented programs to
generate competitive advantages and long-term value.
The Minneapolis Award Program was established to
recognize the best of local businesses in our community. Our organization works
exclusively with local business owners, trade groups, professional associations
and other business advertising and marketing groups. Our mission is to recognize
the small business community’s contributions to the U.S. economy. |

Please keep toys at home or in your child's locker, unless your child has the letter bucket. Unfortunately, some toys are getting lost, broken, etc. and we want to minimize these incidences.

As we enter into colder winter weather, please remember to send hats/coats/snowpants/boots/mittens to keep in your child's locker. We will continue to go outside daily as long as it feels warmer than 15 degrees.

A friendly reminder regarding our parking lot:
since we have high traffic during pick-up and drop-off, it is important
that cars go fully around the parking lot when entering (it is
technically a one way but is very poorly marked---we have requested the
landlord to repaint the arrows to avoid an accident). Also, please drive
slowly in the parking lot as there are small children walking to and
from their cars. We appreciate your attention to this important matter! |
