PRESS RELEASE

Lil Newton's Nest has been selected for the 2012 Best of Minneapolis Award in the Preschool category by the Minneapolis Award Program.

Each year, the Minneapolis Award Program identifies companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Minneapolis area a great place to live, work and play.

Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2012 Minneapolis Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Minneapolis Award Program and data provided by third parties.

posted Oct 24, 2012, 8:33 AM by Alise McGregor

All children are welcome to come to school in their costumes or bring them with to change into and we will have a Halloween party/parade with trick or treating.

Friendly Reminder

posted Oct 24, 2012, 8:32 AM by Alise McGregor

Please keep toys at home or in your child's locker, unless your child has the letter bucket. Unfortunately, some toys are getting lost, broken, etc. and we want to minimize these incidences.

Winter Gear

posted Oct 24, 2012, 8:11 AM by Alise McGregor

As we enter into colder winter weather, please remember to send hats/coats/snowpants/boots/mittens to keep in your child's locker. We will continue to go outside daily as long as it feels warmer than 15 degrees.

Parking Lot Safety

posted Oct 22, 2012, 6:53 AM by Alise McGregor

A friendly reminder regarding our parking lot: since we have high traffic during pick-up and drop-off, it is important that cars go fully around the parking lot when entering (it is technically a one way but is very poorly marked---we have requested the landlord to repaint the arrows to avoid an accident). Also, please drive slowly in the parking lot as there are small children walking to and from their cars. We appreciate your attention to this important matter!
